Electrical Assembly Technician

At Metalform, our assembly team brings to life a wide range of products – from industrial temporary power systems to cutting-edge autonomous farm machinery and everything in between.

As our operations continue to expand and adopt new technologies, we’re looking for a skilled individual with experience in electrical or mechanical assembly – or ideally both – to join our team.

We’re after someone with:

  • A solid understanding of electrical systems, plus some mechanical know-how.
  • Hands-on technical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative, positive attitude (manufacturing experience is a bonus, but not essential).

In this role, you’ll work closely with our design and mechatronics teams to develop, build, and troubleshoot prototypes, while your main focus will be assembling production runs of high-quality hardware.

Additional Desirable Attributes:

  • Forklift operator’s certificate.
  • Electronics experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, typically Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm.
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
